ZARA’S Yam Gnocchi ~ Wheat Free

ZARA’S Yam Gnocchi is “wheat free”. This means that it does not contain any wheat products in the ingredients, however it is made in the same facility as our traditional wheat based pastas. This means that our Yam Gnocchi MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF WHEAT and is therefore NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH SERIOUS WHEAT ALLERGIES.

SAUCE SUGGESTIONS: Slightly sweet in flavoured, our Yam Gnocchi pairs well with Zara’s Fresh Basil Pesto, Creamy Porcini or alternatively make your own brown butter and sage sauce.

SERVING SIZE: We recommend 200g per person for a main course serving.

COOKING TIME: 5 – 7 minutes at a gentle boil.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Bring a pot of generously salted water to the boil. Use a big pot, give the Gnocchi room to move. Once boiling, add Gnocchi and reduce to a medium simmer – cook for between 5  minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon or use a colander. Add the pasta to a pan with your chosen sauce. Carefully combine and season with salt and pepper to taste. Optional: transfer to a skilled and sauté in butter to make the outside a little crispy.


STORAGE: Pasta can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. It can also be frozen for up to 6 weeks. If you freeze the pasta, cook it directly from frozen – DO NOT DEFROST.

INGREDIENTS : PASTA: Potato flakes, water, egg, baked yam, potatoes, potato flour, sugar, rice flour, potato starch, chickpea flour, salt, xanthan gum, annato powder, salt. Rolled in rice flour. CONTAINS: EGGS.
