There are a lot of “balsamic glazes” or “crema di balsamico” on the market, we like De Negris first for it’s flavour and second for the quality of it’s ingredients. When purchasing a balsamic glaze always look to see what percent of balsamic vinegar it is actually made from, all are made from a certain percent of vinegar with the addition of sweeteners, thickeners and stabilizers. De Negris uses 85%, the highest we’ve found.
Balsamic glaze is most often used as a condiment for grilled meats, grilled or roasted vegetables, cheeses and desserts. Try a little drizzled on vanilla or dark chocolate ice-cream, it’s a beautiful thing!
