  • A rich ragu made with quality ground beef, red wine and vegetables and cooked slowly. PASTA SUGGESTION: Pairs perfectly with our fresh house-made Pappardelle or Campanelle. Also perfect for use in a lasagna or paired with countless dry long and short cuts of pasta
  • This is one of our faves! When it comes to pasta most people are either short cut or long cut people. But there are a few lesser known pastas that bridge that divide and Bucatini is one of them. A.K.A. Perciatelli, Bucatini is not just a long pasta, it is a long pasta with a whole down the centre! Not only will Bucatini gather sauce in its tangled nest, it also allows sauce to sneak inside its hollow centre. When the purpose of pasta shapes is to act as a vehicle for sauce delivery, this duality makes Bucatini a pasta star! Traditionally served with Amatriciana sauce, Bucatini is also perfect for velvety pasta sauces like Carbonara or Caico e Pepe. Not only do we love it for its sauce gathering abilities, Bucatini also has a terrifically bouncy mouth feel and is a whole lot of fun to slurp! SAUCE SUGGESTION: If you’re not up for making you own sauce, try it with one of ours. We’d recommend either Zara’s Putanesca or Spicy Sausage sauce. SERVING SIZE: We recommend 200g per person for a main course (as pictured).
  • These are what we’re famous for! These vibrantly coloured stripped Ravioloni (large ravioli) are naturally coloured, pillows of pasta stuffed with sweet butternut squash, creamy mascarpone and ricotta cheese and subtly seasoned with cardamom, nutmeg and sage. SAUCE SUGGESTION: ZARA'S Alfredo or Bolognese sauce. SERVING SIZE: We recommend 200g per person for a main course serving. Approximately one nest.

While spaghetti is most often paired with tomato based sauces it is also excellent for velvety sauces like Carbonara or Caico e Pepe. SAUCE SUGGESTION: ZARA'S Bolognese or Marinara SERVING SIZE: We suggest 200g per person for a main course.
  • Gorgonzola and walnut, a classic pairing and one of our favourites. For this ravioli we use Gorgonzola "dolce", traditionally made from cows milk, it has a wonderful flavour that is relatively mild in comparison to other blue veined cheeses, it has a creamy texture with the perfect balance of salty and sweet. To temper the gorgonzola and add a bit more creaminess, we mix in ricotta cheese and of coarse some chopped fresh walnuts. SAUCE SUGGESTION: Pairs perfectly with our fresh Sun-dried Tomato Pesto, ZARA'S Rosato Creamy Tomato sauce or make your own simple brown butter and sage. SERVING SIZE: We recommend 200g per person for a main coarse serving.

  • Paccheri, the pasta with attitude! Originating in Naples, the name Paccheri comes from the Neapolitan word “paccharia” meaning “slaps” referring to the slapping sound they make when mixed with sauce. We love this pasta and think it couldn’t be more representative of a city that is full of under appreciated attitude and depth. SAUCE SUGGESTION: Most often served with a Neapolitan Sunday ragù, a slowly simmered meat sauce, we love Paccheri for its tooth and ability to hold it’s own with chunky sauces. Make your own Sunday sauce or try it with ZARA’S Spicy Italian Sausage sauce. Either way we’re sure you’ll love it as much as we do. SERVING SIZE: We recommend 200g per person for a main course.

Zara's Putanesca sauce is made with whole Italian plum tomatoes, capers, olives, anchovy and conservatively spiced with red chilli flakes. We hope you like it as much as we do. PASTA SUGGESTION: Pairs perfectly with lots of our fresh or dry pastas, including our fresh Spaghetti or  Casarecce and countless dry long and short cuts of pasta.
  • We love this pasta! Ok we love all past but for real this is a great shape! A relatively new shape in the history of pasta, Radiatori are said to have been invented sometime between the two great wars. Modelled after old industrial radiator heating fixtures it’s name means just that- radiator. Like their industrial counterparts, Radiatori’s shape is meant to maximize surface area trapping flavour and sauce between its fins. SAUCE SUGGESTION: Radiatori goes well with virtually any sauce. Try it with Prosciutto & Peas, Italian sausage, pasta primavera, pesto or a pasta salad. Make it your own, mix it up and have fun! You could also try one of our great sauces like ZARA'S Spicy Italian Sausage or Putanesca. SUGGESTED SERVING SIZE: 200g per person for a main course serving.
  • One of our most popular sauces! Zara’s Rose sauce combines our Marinara and Alfredo sauces to make what we call the the United Nations of sauces. When you can’t decide between a red or white sauce, this sauce combines the best of both worlds. PASTA PAIRING: Zara's Crab & Lobster Ravioli

  • For those of you who know and love it, Squid ink pasta is a bit of a pasta cult classic. But for those of you that don’t, we dare you to try something new! Often shied away from for its not-so-subtle colour, Squid ink pasta is actually quite delicate in flavour with a subtle brininess. This subtle sea-saltiness makes it an ideal pairing with seafood. SAUCE SUGGESTION: In order to let this pasta shine we suggest keeping the sauce subtle and simple. Try it with fresh cherry tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and chopped flat leaf parsley. If you're not up to making your own sauce may we suggest ZARA'S Alfredo sauce. SERVING SIZE: We recommend 200g per person for a main course (as pictured).
